Mary is one of my favorite authors! This has been quite the challenge and I wish I could say that I kept up but I haven’t. I’m still getting a lot out of it because of the summary Mary writes for each day. It helps bring clarity to some chapters that are harder to understand. She also writes a prayer at the end of each day.
Overall, really great challenge that is doable with intentionality. But there’s grace.
As I told my friend who is doing this with me, I hope you love Mary as much as I do by getting this book. She’s a godly woman and prayer warrior and it’s evident in her writing.

I love the way Mary DeMuth challenges and encourages others through her podcast and in her ministry to others. In this book DeMuth not only shares how to read through the Bible in 90 days, but digs deeper into the “why” it is valuable for our Christian growth. Each day has a reading plan, short devotion, and a heartfelt prayer. Totally recommend this for those who want to revitalize their faith walk and approach the Bible with fresh perspective.

This is definitely a Bible reading marathon!! The book is important to stay on track with the challenge to just push thru! Mary DeMuth writes with a genuine voice which definitely helps to encourage us as we take up the venture of reading the entire Bible in 90 days!!!

The whole Bible in 90 days? How can it even be possible? Grateful for Mary’s heart to gather a community (Facebook Group and email) to encourage one another on this remarkable journey. 90 days to see the whole of scripture in a new light - from God’s perspective. This is a chance to truly see God’s grief as humans sin and rebel and his joy when they return (only to repeat the process).
It isn’t as hard as I thought- a commitment for sure, but the benefits far outweigh the time invested. Thanks for this enlightening idea and the support to make it happen. The daily reading plan the book lays out is reasonable and the commentary and prayers tie a neat bow on each day’s selection. Well done!

This is Doable! The Whole Bible Really Can Be Read in 90 Days!

I absolutely recommend this book for anyone who hopes to or plans to read through the whole Bible. There are many yearly plans out there, but this 90 day plan is so satisfying. I love the thought that I can read the entire Bible from cover to cover in just 3 months. I started October 1 and will be done by the end of December. And my plan is to do it again starting January 1. I really like how each day is broken down. I can read the selected passages within an hour each day. Mary also encourages readers to use their time in the car by listening to an audio version of the Bible. This has helped me on numerous days. I’ve also used my time on the plane to catch up when I’ve gotten behind. In each chapter (day), Mary anchors her readers to what is happening in the passages for that day. She gives biblical, historical, and cultural insights that relate to the selection, and can also be found in other parts of the Bible. Because she is so grounded in Scripture, she also gives her readers applications in which to focus (even in the most difficult or mundane passages). In all of her writing, Mary points people to Jesus and the life-changing truth of God’s Word. She gives a personal prayer each day based on the selected reading, and in doing so, she teaches her readers how to pray using Scripture. This is a must read for anyone who wants to read through the Bible cover to cover, for anyone who longs to understand the Bible better, and for first-time readers of God’s Word.
