Replaced like with like, so no complicated plumbing to do. Set the temperature nut a little higher than the preset to ensure piping hot water. It's a simple turn of a screw. You get a riser, mixer tap and hose and fixings. For me there was some fresh hole drilling to do for the riser. Very pleased.

It was so easy to install. My husband seems to have lost confidence as he has got older and we usually call in tradesmen to do jobs whereas in the past he did many jobs but with the current pandemic and the lockdown we were reluctant to do that. He was able to take off the old thermostatic shower bar and fit this new one very, very easily. Before we ordered it, he made sure he could isolate the water supply and take off the old one and that worked ok so we went ahead with the purchase. Fortunately the manufacturer's seem to have got their act together and made standard sizes for this type of shower. If it had been a case of having to move water pipes etc we would have left it to the professionals. So many times in the past, what seemed to be an easy job turned out not to be so but for this installation of a replacement (not the same make) it all turned out well.
The actual shower bar seems very well made, solid and shiny and most of all it works well.

Only had this for a few weeks, but working well, better than my old heritage shower tap which only lasted 2 years, hopefully Bristan taps are better quality, looks good, price good, Bristan are one of the better brands.

Just installed the unit. Previously had a 18 year old flush unit so some retiling was necessary. Prefer having everything where I can see it. The only drawback is that with the old unit the controls had 270 deg movement where the new style has 90 deg movement. I am OK as I set the temp at the 38degC stop but my Wife like a cool shower and getting the temp right is a bit more fiddly for her.
Temp control valve works fine and to cap it all I was going to buy this model from Screwfix at £199:99

Very nice shower, simple for two amateurs like us to install as the instructions were easy to follow (granted we had the plumbing in place already as this was a replacement for a really old Bristan shower) and we are dead pleased with it. The shower head is big but still lightweight, it's nice and powerful. Great product.
