why is the left shoe bigger than the right ? My left foot is a half-size bigger than my right, yet when seated I can insert my left index finger between the back of my heel and the inside rear of the left shoe, but not so with the right shoe.This gap explains why the left heel tends to slide up and outward when walking.They're a 10.5M, made in Mexico, a better fit than the Vietnam-made Florsheim equivalent, but not keepers. That's a shame because they DO look good. The soles, tip-to-tip, measure 11-13/16" LEFT shoe, exactly 12" RIGHT shoe. Huh ? Sounds nuts, but the tape measure doesn't lie. Something went awry when soles and uppers got joined.
I ordered another pair, just in case it was a random case of poor fit. The 2nd pair gave a significantly better fit, but 2 pressure points on the left foot made me pass.The interiors aren't lined, feel a bit rough with dress socks on. Too bad, 'cause construction is solid and they look really good.
