Honestly, I used this frequently on my waterproofed clothing items and I didn't notice a difference either way..

Didn't work for me when used with other Nikwax wash-in product to waterproof my older coats.

29 April 2015... done and the jackets were dry but mine felt like new inside I could definitely tell it was cleaner ...
After I washed with Tech Wash I immediately applied Softshell Proof so I don't know how it felt after the whole process was done and the jackets were dry but mine felt like new inside I could definitely tell it was cleaner and felt warmer.
