This book is a must have for any classical music lover, especially of Tchaikovsky.

This story of the correspondence between Tchaikovsky and his longtime patron and best friend, is in many ways tragic, but at the same time revealing, not only about his compositional style, but also about the emotional highs and lows that fueled this composer's prolific work.
