Five Stars
I just read about 50 pages so far but love it..
should have handed his ideas to a better writer
Stewart has some interesting math to give to the common person, however he isn't very good at setting it down.
Is there an editor in the house
A strange book.
Lame
Like totally.
Clever, wide-ranging overview of modern physics and math
Stewart takes the conceit of a descendant of Flatland's A.
Bride of Flatland
\"Flatterland\" is billed as the sequel to the book \"Flatland\" and like most Hollywood sequels, \"Flatterland\" doesn't measure up to the original.
A very thought-provoking book
"Flatterland" is a very thought-provoking book by Ian Stewart.
Not recommended for light reading
"Flatterland" would have been a fairly good read had it not been for the heavy-handed treatment of mathematics.
Annoying Tone
The book deserves credit for making the reader aware of multidimensionality around us right now.
One of the best books ever
This book is great; it casually brings some complex concepts out to the reader in a comprehensive and entertaining way.
