I love these baby books and have one for each of my children, but this particular one came and the elastic band was completely stretched out like it had been used before.

Am I the only one who notices that the binding of this book is stiff and 'crinkles' like aged parchment when you open it, almost as if the book has been in somebody's attic yellowing for 50 years already?
