12 January 2011very enjoyable Meistersinger!
Peter Seiffert is an enjoyable Walter, both when singing his arias to perfection, and acting and reacting to the other singers.

Not since seeing Paul Schoffler years ago have I seen the role of Hans Sachs so well cast.

A former reviewer really didn`t like this DVD.
